By the Grace of God

Romans is Paul's great treatise on the Gospel, but what motivates Paul is the unification of the Roman Church.  Paul's desire is to see the Church of Rome, Jew and Gentile, reconciled by a true understanding of the Gospel.  By Romans 3:20 he pulls together Chapters 1-3 in a  key understanding that all are sinners.
